Sweep Inspector

What it is

Sweep Inspector is a safe, local-first folder inspection tool made in Rust.

It helps you understand clutter in folders such as Downloads or Desktop without moving, renaming, copying, or deleting anything. The point is inspection first: make the mess legible before deciding what, if anything, should happen next.

What it protects

Folder cleanup tools can become risky quickly when they jump straight to automation. Sweep Inspector takes the opposite stance: it observes without acting, giving you a clearer view of what is in a folder while leaving all destructive or reorganising decisions in human hands.
